Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 7 Preview

Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 7 Preview

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series enters Week 7 competition with 19 races on the schedule in eight different states.  There will be 14 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division races, 15 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division races, six Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division races and three Durrence Layne Chevrolet Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division races.

You may have noticed that the name of our title sponsor since 2008 “NeSmith” is no longer a part of the branding of our divisions.  This is because Kyle Durrence has purchased NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA, and has renamed the dealership Durrence Layne Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA.

Mr. Durrence wants everyone involved with Durrence Layne Racing to know that it is his intention to keep the racing end of things going at the dealership and to continue to provide the competitors with great service and free next day delivery of Chevrolet Performance Circle Track Engines and parts anywhere in the Southeast.

The new owner of the dealership is new to our sport.  Mr. Durrence has been to a few of our races this season and he loves it.  If he comes up and introduces himself to you, please make him feel welcome and thank him for carrying on a dirt track racing tradition since 2005.

The Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division will have three big events during Week 7 competition with a $1,000-to-win race on Friday night at Moulton Speedway in Danville, AL, plus a $1,000-to-win race on Saturday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL and a $1,000-to-win race on Saturday night Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA.
