DURRENCE LAYNE WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 6 PREVIEW

ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Another busy weekend of dirt track racing is on tap for Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 6 competition. There are 17 events on the Week 6 schedule of events at 16 different tracks in seven different states. There are four races scheduled for Friday night and 13 races on the slate for Saturday night.

There will be 12 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division events, 12 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division races, eight Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division races, and six Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division races on the Week 6 schedule of events.

Moulton Speedway in Danville, AL will host all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions on Friday night with the Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Sportsmen, and the Modified Sportsmen. Salina Speedway in Salina, KS will present the Late Models in action on Friday night.

Southern Raceway in Milton, FL will be in action on both Friday night and Saturday night. The Street Stocks will be in action on Friday night and Saturday night, and the Late Model Stocks will join in at Southern Raceway on Saturday night. Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, TN presents the Late Models, Street Stocks, and the Modified Sportsmen paying $900-to-win on Friday night.

Camden Speedway in Camden, TN has the Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Sportsmen, and the Modified Sportsmen in action on Saturday night for Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 6 competition. Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS will pay the Street Stocks $1,000-to-win, and the Late Model Sportsmen $1,000-to-win on Saturday night.

Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN will present the Late Models and Street Stocks on Saturday night. ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL has the Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsmen action on Saturday night. Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS will host the Late Models and Street Stocks on Saturday night.

Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS has the Late Models and Street Stocks in competition this Saturday night. The Late Models will run a co-sanctioned race with NCRA on Saturday night at Enid Motor Speedway in Enid, OK on Saturday night. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will host the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen and Modified Sportsmen on Saturday night.

Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will be in action on Saturday night with the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Modified Sportsmen. Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA will present the Street Stocks on Saturday night. Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS has the Late Models, Street Stock and Late Model Sportsmen in action on Saturday night.

There were two Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series tracks that reported their Week 5 results after the Monday deadline. The Late Model results from Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA, and the Street Stock results from Thunder Valley Speedway have been posted below. The points for each Division have been adjusted and posted on the appropriate web site.

Braden Mitchell of Russellville, AL leads the Late Model National point standings, and 14-year-old Dylan Hamilton of Cantonment, FL leads the Street Stock National point standings. Morgen Lambert of Boonville, MS leads the Late Model Sportsmen National point standings, and defending National Champion Oakley Gillespie of Five Points, TN leads the Modified Sportsmen National point standings.
